CAST


MANNY SUAREZ was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  A professional actor for over 19 years, his credits include over 50 stage productions: numerous guest and co-starring appearances on television hits such as “CSI” - “Whithout A Trace” -

“The “District” as well as recurring roles on day times “Days of Our Lives” - “Solo En America” for Telemundo - “Breaking Up With Shannon Doherty” for the Oxygen channel.  Some of his film credits include several independent, and studio projects: “Bruce Almighty” - “Out of Sight” - “Wild Things” - “Up Close and Personal” to name a few.

Manny is missed by all his friends from "The Big Deal."

 

Australian actress TAYLOR MILLS acquired a taste for the arts at age seven when she began playing the violin. Her youth included an abundance of singing, dancing and theater, thanks to the encouragement and support of her parents.

Taylor’s Television Hosting career began with a small Music Segment on an Art’s show called “The Gallery” on Sydney Cable Channel.  The success of the segment led to a second segment titled, “What’s Happening around Sydney”.

Mills produced and hosted her own show called, “MPUMP,” an edgy program which featured live performances.  The show attracted viewers from 16 to 35 years of age.

Taylor trained at “The Actors Centre” in Sydney, “The City Lit” in London, “Academy of Screen Performance” in Gold Coast and also in Los Angeles.

 

PASQUALE CARANNANTE is a first generation American, born and raised in New Jersey from an Italian Family.  A great part of his youth was spent working with the family in Brother's Restaurant and Pizza in New Jersey.  Pasquale speaks Italian fluently and is conversational in Spanish.  He's currently studying at The Van Mar Academy and has studied with Vinnie Guastaferro.  He has also done the Indy Film "Son's Of Italy" (Starring Sean Kanan). 

 

JOHN GUMBOC, Wong James Wong, is a trained method actor and a skilled martial artists.

John has appeared on such movies as Enter the Bloodring, Mission of Mercy, Naked Beneath the Water and the Television Show Lois and Clark, where he played a scientist.  

John is also a skilled Martial Artist who holds a black-belt in Kyokushinkai Karate, also known as the deadliest Karate in the World.   He has been featured on the cover of Inside Karate breaking 7 bricks with his bare hand.   John is also skilled in Shotokan Karate, Tae Kwon Do, JuJitsu, Boxing, Nunchakus and Sword Work.

 

IVETTE GONZALEZwas born in Mexico City, into a family of distinguished artitsts.  Her mother was an actress, singer, and ballet dancer, her father an accomplished musician and her grandfather, none other than Adalberto  Martinez "Resortes," one of the biggest stars of  Mexico's golden era of film.   Ivette’s acting career started at the age of six on the professional stage.  At the age of ten she was cast as a regular in her first television project, in the city of Guadelajara.  Soon after, the film world came calling and four feature films later she was cast in David Lynch's "Dune".

Ivette returned to the theatre in several national and international touring productions;  including the highly successful tour of, "Que Nos Pasa" ("What's Happening With US"), with the renowned Mexican comedian Hector Suarez, and as Nancy in "Oliver Twist," (over 600 performances).  In addition to her acting work, Ivette has hosted and reported entertainment news for a variety of Spanish language networks.

 

ROB MACIE is unarguably a man who beyond proving that life imitates arts, lives and breathes the adage – his story is one filled with extraordinary adventures, serendipitous encounters, fascinating characters and nothing less than magical moments – all composing the visual reel behind every pixel of a reality called “life”.

 

PHILLIS ELLIOTT is a classical singer, actress, writer, and linguist.  She has performed at Los Angeles' Music Center, Hollywood Bowl, and Mark Taper Forum, and in 1991 made her international recital debut at the Midsummer Festival of Music and the Arts in Swanage (U.K.).

Ms. Elliott performs regularly with Casa Italiana Opera Company in Los Angeles, where her more than 20 roles have included Musetta (La Boheme), Papagena (The Magic Flute), Laura (La Gioconda), Nedda (Pagliacci, and Violetta (La Traviata). JEFF BERGQUIST has been invited to perform several roles in Keith Bilderbeck's original musicals, including Kosschay in Kosschay the Deathless, the Grey Wolf in The Firebird, the Alligator (and Zombies) in The Fountain of Youth, and Odysseus in The Odyssey, all available on CD from www.babayaga.com.
